It is her understanding attitude with a horse that makes Westfall a leader in the equine industry not only as a competitor but as a clinician as well. • Guest: Chancie Neal has been a barrel racer all of her winning an NBHA World Championship in 2004. Chancies thoughts growing up was she would be a pro-rodeo barrel racer but a family vacation to TN would create new thoughts for her. On this particular trip she saw two girls playing guitars and singing and thought ” I can do that”, her dad got her a guitar and she quickly learned some cords and started strumming. Now at 17 the determined Neal is in Nashville TN honing  a talent for writing and performing heartfelt country music. Chancie has opened shows for Luke Bryan, keep your ears to the radio for Chancie Neal.

Join Alan and Tammy as they get the story of Hot Shots storied career with Peyton Raney, his original owner and 1997 NFR qualifier and WPRA Rookie of the Year.  Also, joining the show is Tanya Steinhoff who recieved Hot Shot as a Christmas present in 2001. Tanya and sister Tyrney won several titles on this amazing little buckskin, Taylor Steinhoff also got to ride him. Hot Shot at 24 passed away in his sleep the last week of 2011.  Listen In…

• Guest: Peyton Raney, NFR qualifier Peyton Raney got things started that would make her horse Nate Shila Bar aka “Hot Shot” a house hold name. Hot Shot carried Raney to the NFR in 1997 and earned the WPRA Rookie title that same year (setting a rookie earnings record). The little buckskin also carried Peyton to NBHA National titles and an NBHA Sweepstakes World title in 2000.

              

• Guest:  Tanya Steinhoff, the back of a horse is a place where Tanya Steinhoff is most comfortable. Garry and Debbie, Tanyas parents started hauling the youngster to barrel races when she was around 4 years old. December of 2000 would be a time that would change Tanya’a life forever, thats when a call came to the Steinhoffs from Peyton Raney offering Tanya a ride on Hot Shot at the BFA World Show’s Youth race……..and the rest as they say is HISTORY.
